FURTHER INFORMATION
Minimum two-night stay in our low season, (Mar/Apr/May/Sep) and on weekends during June, July & August (weekends include a Friday & Saturday night)
Charge is per room, for two people with continental breakfast, VAT (13.5%) added at checkout.
BREAKFAST : Delicious continental style breakfast which includes fruit, yoghurt, cereal, and daily fresh baked scones or soda bread, coffee, tea & juice (please indicate if you have any food allergies on booking in) self served in the communal lounge and dining area, 8-10am daily, please indicate a breakfast arrival slot at check in.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT : We offer self-check in, our standard check-in times are between 4-6pm. If you wish to arrive before 4pm we will do our best to arrange for your room to be ready or alternatively hold your luggage for you. Our latest check-out time is 10.30am, if a later check out is required we will do our best to accommodate you, luggage hold is available.
CHILDREN: we have portable cots & highchairs, free of charge, subject to availability, children over two require a bed, please note Eldons is not child proof - all minors (under 16) will need to be accompanied by an adult at all times.
ACCESSIBILTY: Access to the rooms are by stairs only.
SMOKING: No smoking in the rooms or common areas.
EVENTS: Enquire for information for private or corporate events, and artist’s residencies.
LOCATION : The property is located in the center of Roundstone Village, 50 miles / 80 km west of Galway city. We are approximately 1 hour ten minutes drive from Galway city taking the N59 for 65 km then turn left onto the R341, sign posted Roundstone, for 15 km.
BOOKINGS & PAYMENT : Rooms may be reserved online or through email with a valid credit or debit card. A 10% deposit is required upon booking, payment is processed automatically 5 days prior to arrival. Please note that the maximum occupancy of each room is 2 persons, excluding children/babies. We accept cash for walk in bookings.
GROUP BOOKINGS: require an additional 40% deposit, making the deposit 50% total to secure the booking.
Standard room rate – payment terms: Payments may be made by direct deposit (please call us and book over the phone if this is your preferred payment option, direct deposit payments require full payment up front), or by card through our payment gateway system (only available through booking button). Valid credit card details will be required to secure all bookings.
We reserve the right to charge the remaining full price of your booking to the card you provided with your reservation (if not paid by direct deposit previously) 5 days before your arrival date, once you are inside our cancellation policy period. Should you make a booking less than 5 days before your arrival, we will charge your card at the point of booking. If your card is declined, please be aware that your booking will be cancelled. Confirmation of your booking will be sent by email subject to you providing a valid email address.
DEPOSITS : 10% is requested upon booking, fully refundable within the cancellation period.
CANCELLATIONS : Cancellations must be made by email (info@eldons.ie) at least 72 hours prior to your planned arrival date to receive a refund of any payment previously made. If you cancel less than 72 hours before your due date of arrival or fail to arrive at the BnB ('no show'), we will charge your credit/debit card with 100% of the value of your booking. We recommend guests ensure they have valid travel insurance in place in case of the need to cancel your booking. In the event of bad weather conditions, Eldons will fully apply our cancellation policy.
PRICES : Room rates shown on our website are per room for two people, per night and include breakfast, includes VAT. Room rates are subject to change.
PARKING : Free on-street parking throughout Roundstone, or €2 a day for the Roundstone car park located 20m from the property.
DAMAGE : We reserve the right to make a charge to the cc provided for any actual damage caused to Eldons by a guest along with any additional costs incurred due to the damage caused.
TERMINATION POLICY : Eldons reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate without notice an individual’s stay at Eldons where deemed necessary.
