Eldons has a small, quaint bar on the premises which provides an excellent place to socialize with other patrons and meet with the local characters. Step outside Eldons and you will find large picnic tables with views of the Alexander Nimmo designed harbour set in the wild splendour of Connemara, amid the magical beauty of sea, lake and mountains.

The Eldons bar also has an excellent bar food menu which serves daily from 12-9pm. The terrace is great addition to the bar for an afternoon pint or coffee and is an ideal venue to view the sunset. Eldons Bar is decorated throughout with mahonogy wood in a traditional Irish style. Giving the sense of comfort and warmth, the cosy fireplace with its Connemara turf fires in the bar make a great place to relax and watch the world go by.

During the summer months there is traditional live Irish Music during the weekend and every Wednesday night, following "Irish Night" a community organised celebration of Irish music and dancing held in the local community hall. While during the winter months you can often be treated impromptu music sessions.
